Summer Weather Takes Break With Below Average Temperatures
Next week won't feel like summer in Sacramento as temperatures are set to drop way below normal.
After a moderately warm weekend in the low 90s, area temperatures are going to drop down to the mid 80s by the middle of the week.
A low pressure system will set up just off the coast and sit there for a while. The low will help usher in some cooler marine air and the delta breeze which will lower temperatures.
By Thursday, the valley is looking at a high of only 85 degrees, which is 10 degrees cooler than normal.
The same low that will bring the cool conditions will also bring a chance for some Sierra thunderstorms toward the end of the week.
However, it won't be bringing any rain our way as any chance for storms will stay in the high country.
