Police: Suisun Teen Arrested For Online Threats To Duplicate Connecticut Shooting
SUISUN (CBS13) - A Suisun teen was arrested Monday for going online and saying he was thinking about committing an act similar to the shooting at a Connecticut school last week.
Sergio Cabada, 18, was posting comments online that supported the Connecticut shooter's actions, and expressed an interest in committing a similar act, say Fairfield police.
At 3:30 p.m. a warrant was issued to search Cabada's home. There, police found several rifles, which didn't belong to him. Despite not having access to the guns, police seized them as a precaution.
Cabada was at the home during the search and was arrested without incident. He was booked into the Solano County Jail on felony charges of criminal threats.
