Man Wounded After Pursuit Ends In Shooting
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Authorities shot a man who allegedly led police on a pursuit to his South Sacramento home and then tried to back into a patrol car when he was surrounded.

CHP officers and Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies surrounded the vehicle and ordered the man to surrender, but the driver allegedly revved his engine and tried to ram a police cruiser in reverse.

The man was rushed to Kaiser Hospital. Authorities have not released the suspect's condition.
Neighbors said the man has a history of alcohol and domestic violence issues.
