Stockton Teen Reportedly Avoids Abduction Attempt
STOCKTON (CBS13) — A Stockton teenager was approached Wednesday by a man who said he was armed and ordered her into his vehicle, but she refused, police said.
The incident took place at a bus stop at Fleury Way and Burgundy Drive. The 13-year-old female victim was walking to the bus stop when the suspect met her on the corner.
The suspect told her he had a gun and ordered her into his maroon medium-sized SUV, possibly
A Trailblazer or Envoy, parked on Fleury, according to police. The victim refused to get into the vehicle and the suspect fled.
The suspect is described as white, in his 20s, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a medium build, brown hair and unshaven. He was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
