Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte Now To Include Real Pumpkin
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - As the leaves change colors, Starbucks prepares its most popular seasonal beverage -- the Pumpkin Spice Latte, which returns Sept. 8.
"When you taste PSL, it tastes just like fall," said Peter Dukes, director of Espresso and Brewed Coffee for Starbucks.
After 12 years of serving the pumpkin spice latte, Starbucks says this season the drink is returning with real pumpkin and without its caramel coloring.
PSL fans may have an opportunity to taste the beverage before it's officially in store. Starbucks said it encourages people to follow Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram accounts for the latest.
