Stabbing Suspect Hunted After Robbery

ELK GROVE, Calif. (CBS13) -- Police are searching for a suspect believed to be involved in a stabbing and armed robbery at an Elk Grove storage facility last month.

The Elk Grove Police Department said 35-year-old James Peacock and 25-year-old Julie Fox, both Sacramento residents, robbed and assaulted a 48-year-old man at Statewide Storage on the 9000 block of Union Park Drive on November 18.

Officers found the victim bleeding from a non-life threatening stab wound and rushed him to the hospital.

Fox was arrested in North Sacramento on November 24, authorities said. Investigators couldn't locate Peacock and have issued a $500,000 warrant for his arrest.

Peacock is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on Peacock's location is asked to contact Crime Alert by calling (916) 443-HELP or texting 274637 with "Tip732" at the beginning of the message. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
