Sprinkler System Douses Sacramento Restaurant
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A popular Sacramento restaurant had to clean up a soggy mess after the eatery flooded.
Emergency crews responded to the P.F. Chang's China Bistro at 1530 J Street at around 5:30 a.m. after the sprinkler system went off.
Sacramento Fire Capt. Jonathan Burgess says an employee may have triggered the system when a mop handle bumped a sprinkler about 5:30 a.m. He says the building was evacuated for about 15 minutes.
Burgess says there was little damage to the restaurant, which was cleared to reopen in time for lunch.
Gov. Jerry Brown lives in the same building as P.F. Chang's when he is staying in Sacramento.
