Spring Storm Leaves Behind Damage
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Tuesday night's storm has left the area after dropping an inch of rain and causing damage in the process.
John Greco had a giant tree fall into his backyard, nearly missing his home and only damaging his fence.
"It sounded like a firecracker," Greco said.
The storm also resulted in some minor flooding, which is causing problems for farmers. The flooded fields are preventing farmers like Steve Dennis, owner of Canal Farms, from prepping their land and planting their rice seeds.
The flooding isn't just slowing down farmers but also drivers with some street flooding as well as flooding creeks and streams in the surrounding area.
