Special License Plates Include Ski Lift Tickets

TAHOE (CBS13) - Buy license plates, get ski lift tickets.

That's the new idea behind the Lake Tahoe "License Plate for Powder Program".

Drivers who purchase the Protect Tahoe plates through the Tahoe Fund's website get two lift tickets good Sunday through Friday for the rest of the ski season.

12 resorts are participating and it is open to both California and Nevada drivers.
