South Sacramento School Gets Dozens Of Donated Computers
SOUTH SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A school in South Sacramento has received an early Christmas gift.
The Heald Institute has donated 40 refurbished computers to Ethel Baker Elementary School.
Like many schools in this region, computers are a luxury and not something in the budget right now for the school.
That's why the Sacramento Metro Fire department teamed up with the Sacramento Sheriff's office to donate 40 computers for the project.
The Heald Institute has provided more than 1,000 refurbished computers to area non-profit organizations over the past seven years.
