Sounds Like Love: Best Bets For Live Music On Valentine's Day In Sacramento
For those who want to hear the sounds of love this Valentine's Day, Sacramento area clubs, pubs and bars oblige. From live DJ's to local bands, the following entertainment can be had to celebrate with a your valentine in the Sacramento area.

Set in the backdrop of Historic Folsom, the Powerhouse is known for its 40-ft wall of premium liquors and rolling oak ladder. Enhancing its usual Tuesday "College Night" with a "Be My Valentine" theme, the Powerhouse plans to rock Top-40 tunes in each of the two bars. Dj Rigatony and Dj Alazzawi are slated for the night of love. The Powerhouse plans to entice the college crowds with cupid-sent, go-go dancers and drink specials. A full mix of live and dance music can be heard through the Powerhouse each month.

Harlow's offers an encore performance of Valentine's day entertainment with its tantalizing celebration happening on Feb. 16, 2012. It intends to treat couples to a "siren style" Valentine's evening boasting, "a riotous night of love and lust themed live burlesque entertainment". Tickets can be purchased in advanced and will be held at will call. Described as Sacramento's premiere live music venue, Harlow's features a laundry list of acts. All shows are 21 and over. Also, home to a tasty restaurant, you can enjoy a romantic dinner before the show.

Faces, the number one gay Nightclub in Sacramento the last two years running is a 21 and over establishment. Valentine's patrons will have the opportunity for Latin Tuesdays featuring Banda nights with live music, singing contests and transvestite shows. Valentine's at The Davis Graduate coincides with salsa night. Music from DJ Nehad will be the background for couples to get their salsa on. For beginners or those that feel they're a little rusty, lessons launch at 9:30 p.m. The Davis Graduate is an 18 and over club, offering a variety of weekly themes including Country Night, College Night and Sports Night as well as special events.
