Smash-And-Grab Burglar Hits Two Rocklin Businesses
ROCKLIN (CBS13) – Rocklin Police are searching for a burglar who smashed through the front windows of two businesses near Lonetree Boulevard on Monday night.
Police were alerted to the crime by a man who was parked outside the Blue Oaks Cinema and heard glass shattering nearby at about 10:36 p.m.
He told police he saw a man coming out the broken out front glass door of Sun Kiss Tanning Salon.
The caller then witnessed the man shatter the glass front door of Yakkety Yak Wireless in the same shopping area and go inside.
Police arrived within two minutes but the suspect had already left Yakkety Yak Wireless. Officers set up a perimeter but were unable to locate anyone.
The suspect is described as a light skinned male adult, 5'10" to 6'0 tall. He was wearing faded blue jeans and a dark colored-hooded sweatshirt with covered his head and part of his face. He was also wearing a dark backpack.
