Three Dead In Reno Airport Plane Crash
RENO -- A small-plane crash at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport killed three people on Sunday.
FAA Public Affairs Manager Ian Gregor says a single-engine Piper PA-28 crashed on takeoff around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday.
The plane crashed into cars parked in long-term parking near the south side of the airport's parking garage.
Three people were on board the aircraft. There were no injuries on the ground.
The FAA and NTSB will investigate the crash.
The Reno-Tahoe Airport says their operations were not affected by the crash.
