3.6-Magnitude Quake Centered Near Kingvale Shakes High Country
KINGVALE (CBS13) — A small earthquake rattled the Sierra Nevada early Wednesday morning.
According to the US Geological Survey, the magnitude 3.6 quake hit just before 1:30 a.m. It was centered just north of Kingvale.
USGS's shake map shows the quake being felt as far east as the California-Nevada stateliness and all the way down to the foothills, just past Auburn, to the west.
No damage has been reported.
