Small Incoming Storm Could Bring Light Showers Throughout Week
Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine before a small storm moves into the region, bringing possible showers Wednesday.
With the exception of a few light showers near Yosemite, the region remains rain free Tuesday. A few light rain showers are possible Wednesday and Thursday, mainly north of I-80.
High temperatures will push into the low 70s for the Central Valley, while the delta region and foothills will remain in the 60s. Otherwise, skies will remain partly sunny with highs near 70 degrees throughout the workweek.
Light snow in elevations above 6,500 feet will make travel through the Sierra slick at times later this week.
We'll see a brief warm up into the mid 70s with mostly dry conditions on Friday, but rain chances are on the rise for the rest of the upcoming weekend.
Rain totals are not expected to be very heavy, but you may need to dodge a few drops Easter weekend.
