Shooting In Modesto Leaves 1 Woman Dead
MODESTO (CBS13) - Police are searching for the person who shot and killed a Modesto woman late Thursday night.
At around 11:58 p.m. Modesto police received several calls reporting gunshots fired in the area of Colorado and Pelton Avenues. When officers arrived at the scene, they found 21-year-old Teresa Provencio of Modesto dead with a gunshot wound.
Witnesses to the shooting say the shots were fired from a light-colored 90s model compact vehicle.
