Sheriff Needs Help Identifying Granite Bay Pharmacy Robbery Suspect
GRANITE BAY (CBS13) - The Placer County Sheriff's Office needs the public's assistance identifying a suspect who robbed a Granite Bay pharmacy Friday night.
Just before 9 p.m., the suspect entered CVS Pharmacy, located at 8455 Auburn Folsom Road. He handed the pharmacist a note which stated he had a gun. However, he never revealed any weapon.
The suspect then demanded specific prescription medications. The pharmacist gave him some, and the man took off on foot.
Deputies, a CHP helicopter, a Roseville police K-9 team, and a Placer County sheriff K-9 team searched the area to no avail.
The suspect is described as a white male, believed to be in his 20s. He was last seen wearing a dark beanie hat, sunglasses, a dark heavy coat and dark baggy pants.
