Sheriff: Cameron Park Man Doused Girlfriend With Gasoline, Lit Her On Fire
EL DORADO COUNTY (CBS13) — A Cameron Park man has been arrested after sheriff's investigators say he doused his girlfriend with gasoline and set her on fire.
El Dorado County Sheriff's deputies found the woman on the 2700 block of La Crescenta Drive on Friday night after several 911 calls about a woman screaming in the area. She was taken to an emergency room for treatment of serious burns to her lower body.
Detectives arrested her boyfriend, Curtis Menezes, 28, on charges including assault with a caustic chemical. He is being held on $100,000 bail.
