Sharks' Heatley Suspended For 2 Games
TORONTO (AP) -- San Jose Sharks right winger Dany Heatley was suspended for two games without pay by the NHL on Wednesday for elbowing Dallas' Steve Ott in the head Tuesday night.
The suspension will cost Heatley $80,645.
Heatley was given a minor penalty on the play with 4:06 left in San Jose's 6-3 road victory. He scored twice in the game and has 24 goals and 34 assists in 71 games this season.
Heatley will be eligible to return March 23 against Calgary.
