Sex Offender Arrested For Assaulting Boy
SONORA, Calif. (CBS13) – A registered sex offender has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a friend's son while staying at his house last week, authorities said.
Sonora resident Anthony Canzoni, 51, spent the night at a friend's house on June 7 and victimized the friend's 12-year-old son twice during the night, according to the Sonora Police Department.
The victim's parents reported the crime to police after learning about the alleged assault.
Canzoni was arrested at his house Tuesday and arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age, and oral copulation with a child under 14 years of age while using fear or force, both felony counts.
