Security Cameras Spot TV Chef Guy Fieri's Stolen Lamborghini
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- A celebrity chef's Lamborghini sports car is reportedly getting some miles on it after being stolen from a San Francisco exotic car dealership earlier this week.
Office Albie Esparza, a police spokesman, said Thursday security cameras on the Golden Gate Bridge filmed the bright yellow Gallardo just hours after it was stolen Tuesday morning.
Police believe the thief used climbing equipment to rappel into the showroom before driving away in television personality Guy Fieri's $200,000-plus car.
Esparza says the Lamborghini also popped up on cameras in Tiburon, just north of the city.
Esparza says investigators are still following up on leads, and anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact police.
Fieri, who lives in Santa Rosa, is the star of the Food Network's "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" and host of NBC's "Minute to Win It" game show.
