School Burglary Suspect Tased By Sheriff's Deputies
CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. (CBS13) - A suspect is in the hospital after being tased by Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies in Citrus Heights.
The suspect was followed to his home on Gerard Way near San Juan Avenue after witnesses say they saw him taking a piece of equipment from Cambridge Heights Elementary School early Monday morning.
The suspect resisted arrest and deputies say they had to use a taser to subdue him.
As a standard procedure, he was checked out at a hospital before being taken to jail.
