Sacramento Will Break Dry Weather Record Tuesday
The dry drum beats on with no rain in sight for Northern California.
Sacramento was dry all weekend and is on track to break a record for consecutive days without rain during the wet season. The current record is 44 days with no rain, and will be tied on Monday and then broken with 45 days on Tuesday.
High pressure is still controlling our region's weather with dry and unseasonably warm conditions. The ridge of high pressure won't budge for most of the week, continuing to keep things dry.
Looking toward the end of the month, forecast models indicate the ridge will break down and give the region a shot for rain.
