County Trying To Lure Virgin Airlines To Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Sacramento International Airport could get a new tenant in Terminal A.

During Tuesday's board meeting, Sacramento County supervisors will consider offering Virgin $400,000 to move in and offer flights to Los Angeles.

The money would go towards marketing and start-up costs.

In 2007, Sacramento County approved $150,000 to entice Air Canada to move in but that airline left after just one year.
