Sacramento Police Seek Public's Help Identifying Suspect; Sexually Assaulted Teen
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Sacramento police are asking for the community's help identifying a suspect who sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl.
On Aug. 14, a male adult inappropriately touched the teen in front of her home in the area of Florin Road and Greenhaven Drive, police say. The suspect reportedly approached the victim and touched her on the outside of her clothing while speaking with the girl. She was not physically injured.
The suspect is described as a mixed race -- Hispanic and black -- middle-aged male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, and heavyset with an evident double chin.
Police say the suspect arrived and left in a 2000s model silver van.
At this time, investigators say are no signs of additional incidents or victims.
