Sacramento Man Arrested In Attack On Roseville Jogger
ROSEVILLE (CBS13) — Roseville Police have arrested a man they say attacked a jogger from behind in the early-morning hours last week.
Kenneth Redick, 23, of Sacramento was arrested on Friday afternoon.
According to the Roseville Police Department, the woman was out on the trails behind Summerhill Park – between Washington Boulevard and Highway 65 – when just before 5:30 a.m. a man came up behind her and knocked her down.
Redick's booking photo is not being released as police investigate whether he was involved in other related cases.
The attack prompted runners to stage a group run to show they weren't afraid of an alleged attacker who was still on the run.
