SACRAMENTO – The Sacramento Kings have added a veteran 3-point shooter to their roster, just days after trading forward Jalen McDaniels to the San Antonio Spurs, ESPN reports.

Free agent forward Doug McDermott agreed to a one-year deal with the Kings, ESPN's Shams Charania first reported on Wednesday. Charania said the Kings finalized the deal late Tuesday night.

McDermott has been in the league for 10 years and is a career 41% from 3-point land.

The 32-year-old has averaged 8.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1 assist per game over his career.

The 11th overall draft pick out of Creighton in 2014 will be joining his seventh team for his 11th year. McDermott has spent four seasons with the Indiana Pacers and three years with the San Antonio Spurs and Chicago Bulls. He's also spent a season with the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder.
