Sacramento Kings Ben McLemore Named Western Conference Rookie Of The Month
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Sacramento Kings rookie Ben McLemore was named the Western Conference Rookie of the Month for November on Tuesday.
In his first month of NBA action, McLemore averaged 9.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 22.8 minutes per game—or just shy of a full half.
McLemore is tied with the Philadelphia 76ers for three-pointers made and led Western Conference rookies in scoring and 3-point percentage.
McLemore, the fifth Kings player to win the monthly rookie honor, had a career high 19 points and led the team in scoring in a 98-87 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Nov. 2.
