Sacramento Convenience Store Robbed At Gunpoint
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A Sacramento convenience store was robbed early Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at a 7-11 store on 58th Street and Broadway. Police say the robber, dressed in black clothes and a dark ski mask, parked on 58th Street and walked a short distance to the store. He walked into the store, pulled out a semi-automatic handgun, jumped over the counter and demanded money from the cashier. The cashier handed over about $200 and the robber walked out.
The entire crime took only 60 seconds.
Due to the suspect's dark clothing, surveillance cameras weren't able to give police useful details about the man.
CSI took a shoe print from the counter.
Witnesses reported seeing a dark blue sedan driving away from the scene.
