Roseville Police Investigating Two Armed Robberies At Restaurants
ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – Roseville Police are investigating two restaurant robberies that may be related including one where the suspects tied up employees and disabled all phones before leaving.
The first incident happened early Sunday morning at the Outback Steakhouse Restaurant on North Sunrise Boulevard. Two, possibly three, suspects tied up employees as they were closing, disabled the restaurant phones, smashed the employees' cell phones and took money from the safe before leaving.
The robbers were described as thin white males wearing stockings over their faces. One was armed with a handgun.
The second robbery took place early this morning at a McDonald's on Harding Boulevard. Employees had just arrived to open when they were confronted by an armed man demanding money from the safe. The suspect also disabled the phones before leaving.
He was described as a white male in his 30s with a medium height and build. He had brown, medium length hair, wore a black long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans, and was armed with a handgun.
