Roseville Ordinance Punishing Parents Who Allow Teen Drinking Passed
ROCKLIN (CBS13) – City leaders in Roseville have passed an ordinance to punish parents who allow teen drinking in the homes.
The "social host ordinance" passed in a five-to-one city council vote Wednesday night.
Under the new rule, parents could face fines of up to $500 for a first offense, and increasing for repeat offenders.
A similar ordinance passed earlier this year in the city of Rocklin.
