Roof Collapses At West Sacramento Auto Shop
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Two people are safe after the roof of the auto shop they were in partially collapsed.
At around 10:29 a.m. Monday, two mechanics were working at Eve's Automotive, a small shop on 824 E Street in West Sacramento, when they heard the sound of creaks and cracks, followed by the roof and a lot of water come crashing down, said Mechanic Jasmine Sanchez.
Neither mechanic was injured during the incident. One mechanic was under a hydraulic vehicle lift at the time, which appears to have taken the brunt of the weight of the roof.
