Robbers Open Fire In Modesto Burger King
MODESTO (CBS13) -- Armed robbers fired several shots during a "take over" style incident at a fast food restaurant Thursday evening, authorities said.
The Modesto Police Department released surveillance images of the three suspects who entered the Burger King restaurant on the 3400 block of Yosemite Boulevard at around 8:00 p.m., leaping over the counter and forcing employees to the back of the business.
One of the suspects fired a number of shots during the robbery, but no injuries were reported. The suspects fled after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash.
All three of the suspects were wearing hats and hooded sweatshirts, and two had their faces covered with bandanas.
