Robber Kills Man At SoCal Taco Bell Drive-Through
RIALTO, Calif. (AP) -- Police in Riverside County are looking for a robber who killed a man at a Taco Bell drive-through.
The Riverside Press-Enterprise says 20-year-old Joshua Huizar was in a car at a Taco Bell window in Rialto at about 1 a.m. Sunday when a gunman walked up and demanded his wallet.
Police say Huizar handed over his wallet but was shot when he tried to drive away.
His girlfriend was in the car but she wasn't hurt.
Officer Dave Shepherd says investigators are trying to determine whether the killer might be the same robber who's struck other fast-food restaurants in the area.
