Ripon Police Arrest 3 At Truck Stop On Prostitution Charges
RIPON (CBS13) - Police officers arrested three people early Tuesday morning after responding to a report of prostitution at a Ripon truck stop.
Officers went to the Flying J Truck Plaza at 1501 N. Jacktone Road at about 12:25 a.m. and questioned two male suspects. One of the male suspects was found to be on active parole. The suspects admitted they transported the woman in question to the truck stop.
The female suspect, Damaris Quezada, 22, of Ceres, was questioned and reportedly admitted she had just been engaged in a sex act while at the truck stop. Quezada admitted she had placed an ad on an Internet site stating she could be contacted "for a good time," police said.
The truck driver, Mark Rony Saha, 35, of Loma Linda, was questioned and admitted he and the female engaged in sexual act for money inside the cab of his truck. The male suspects, who admittedly transported the female who was engaging in prostitution, were taken into custody. A printer and copies of $20 bills were located in the suspect's vehicle, police said.
Andres Felipe Izquierdo, 28, of Turlock, was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on a parole hold, conspiracy, aiding in prostitution and contributing to the delinquency of a minor
Quezada was booked into the jail on the charges of conspiracy, prostitution and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
A 17-year-old boy was cited and released on the charges of conspiracy, aiding in prostitution and circulating unauthorized money.
Saha was cited and released on a charge of solicitation of prostitution.
