RFK's Killer Now Claims He Was Manipulated By A Seductive Woman
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Lawyers for convicted assassin Sirhan Sirhan claim in new legal papers that he was manipulated by a seductive woman in a mind-control plot to kill Sen. Robert F. Kennedy. But the lawyers say Sirhan's bullets did not kill Kennedy.
Legal papers filed this week in Los Angeles detail extensive interviews of Sirhan, many under hypnosis. They point to a mysterious woman in a polka dot dress as the controller who led him to fire a gun in the pantry of the Ambassador Hotel in 1968.
For the first time, Sirhan says he thought he was at a firing range, seeing circles with targets in front of his eyes. He says he never planned to kill Kennedy and lawyers say another gunman killed the senator with Sirhan used as a diversion.
