Residents Help Fight Roseville Grass Fire
ROSEVILLE (CBS13) - Fast-thinking neighbors helped keep a grass fire from spreading in Roseville.
The fire started just before 1 a.m. on Walerga and PFE Roads.
Placer County firefighters say the 911 call said the fire was in a building. However, when they arrived on scene, some neighbors were already getting to work.
"It was about a 12 by 50 spot that some locals were working on, and we came in and finished putting it out," said Placer County Fire Department Capt. Steve Taylor.
The cause is still under investigation.
