Report: Kings To Fire Karl After Last Game
The Drive with Carmichael Dave, Kayte Christensen, and Nate Goodyear broke the news Tuesday morning that the Sacramento Kings plan to fire George Karl following the last game of the season.
Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee wrote in his latest article, "The issues between Karl and the players nearly led to the coach's firing in February, and this time, financial reasons or a chat with general manager Vlade Divac won't save his job after Wednesday's game."
There has been tension between Karl and DeMarcus Cousins all year which has also led to a shaky relationship between the head coach and the front office.
In his first full season as the Kings' head coach, Karl has led the team to 33 wins with one game left in the season.
Another disappointing season, as well as the drama surrounding Karl's relationship with people within the organization, now have Karl's job in jeopardy.
