Report: Kings Deny Bucks Trade Offer Involving Ben McLemore, Michael Carter-Williams
According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Sacramento Kings turned down a trade offer which would have sent Ben McLemore to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for former Rookie of the Year, Michael Carter-Williams.
The Bucks have made it clear they are shopping a couple players including Carter-Williams and center Greg Monroe.
Carter-Williams, a 24-year-old point guard, averaged 11 points and five assists for the Bucks last season.
Sacramento has two true point guards on the roster and the starter, Darren Collison will be suspended for the first eight games of the season.
McLemore hasn't lived up to what the Kings thought they were getting when the team selected him seventh overall in 2013. In three seasons, McLemore has averaged 9.7 points per game.
