The San Francisco Giants claimed infielder Micah Johnson off waivers from the Cincinnati Reds Monday afternoon in hopes of adding depth at second base.
NBCSN's Alex Pavlovic tweeted the news.
Johnson has played for three different teams since making his major league appearance as the White Sox's second baseman during their 2015 season opener.
While playing for the Atlanta Braves in 2017, he recorded a .200 BA with two hits.
