Release Of Surveillance Photo Leads Detectives To Placer County Robbery Suspect
PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) - Acting on a tip from the public, Placer County sheriff's detectives arrested a man wanted in connection with armed robberies at Loomis and Penryn businesses last month.
Dwayne Deshawn Hargo, 30, of Penryn, was booked at the Placer County Jail on Tuesday on two counts of armed robbery.
A surveillance photo from one of the robberies was released by the sheriff's office last week, and it proved instrumental in Hargo's arrest, sheriff's spokeswoman Dena Erwin said in a press release.
Hargo is charged with robbing Star Liquor in Loomis on Jan. 16 and the Penryn Valero on Jan. 18.
His bail was set at $100,000.
