Rancho Cordova Police Searching For Burglary Suspect

RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) -- Rancho Cordova Police are searching for a burglary suspect accused of breaking into a home earlier this month.

The suspect is accused of breaking into a home on April 7, 2011, and was later caught on tape using a credit card that was stolen during the incident. Surveillance video released Friday shows the suspect in the act of using the card.

The suspect is believed to be between 16-21 years old, approximately 6'-6'2" tall, weighing 160 pounds. He may be of Eastern European or Hispanic descent.

Anyone with information about this case, or who believes they know the identity of this person is asked to call the Rancho Cordova Police Department's Detective Division at (916) 875-9638, Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or send a text message tip to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
