Rain Expected In The Sacramento Area Wednesday And Thursday
Unseasonably warm weather will set the stage for wet weather this week in the Sacramento area.
We are expecting mostly sunny and breezy weather conditions on Monday and Tuesday. High temps in the mid-to-upper 70s could set new records.

Wet weather will move into our area Wednesday afternoon, with the heaviest rainfall expected late Wednesday into Thursday. Valley rain totals of .25 inches to .75 inches are expected.
A few thunderstorms are possible.
In the mountains, snow levels will be around 5,500-6,500 feet on Wednesday and lowering to 3,000-4,000 feet by Thursday morning. Above 6,000 feet, snow totals could reach 1 to 2 feet, with totals around 4 to 8 inches around the pass and lake level, which could affect travel through the mountains.
