Zimmerman Protesters Continue To Gather In Downtown Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Protesters held a peaceful rally at the federal courthouse in downtown Sacramento.
They could be heard shouting "No justice, no peace for Trayvon Martin." Protestors held a peaceful rally but were vocal about the jury's acquittal of George Zimmerman.
Many at the rally told CBS13 they are protesting based on personal experience with police brutality. They say the no guilty verdict is boiled over frustration.
"Your loved one could get shot and killed, and you could get no information whatsoever. I didn't know this could happen in the United States of America and I'm appalled," said protestor Elizabeth Adam.
There was a police presence at the protest rally, but no incidents were reported.
