Premiere Date Announced For Sacramento Kings '30 For 30' Film
Sacramento Kings fans will have to mark another date in their calendars this fall. No, it is not home game or special event in downtown. ESPN has announced the premiere date for Down In The Valley.
Down In The Valley is part of the 30 For 30, Volume III film series. The film follows the fight by the community and Kevin Johnson to keep the Kings in Sacramento. The films will premiere on ESPN on Tuesday October 20th, 2015 at 6 pm PT.
Kings president Chris Granger released the following statement.
We're excited for the entire country to watch our #SacramentoProud story on October 20. The Kings, the City, and ESPN are working on a Sacramento screening and we'll announce additional details very soon.
The film is directed by Jason Hehir. He previously directed two other 30 For 30 films, Bernie and Ernie and The Fab Five. Click here to watch the trailer.
