Police:One Dead, One Wounded In Natomas Shooting

SACRAMENTO (AP) -- A 19-year-old has been shot to death and his 20-year-old brother hospitalized with gunshot wounds after they apparently got in an argument with two other men in a northSacramento parking lot.

Sacramentopolice Sgt. Norm Leong says the two victims were inside their car at a strip mall located at Northgate Boulevard and San Juan Road at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday when they were approached by another two men. The two groups apparently exchanged words then either one or both suspects opened fire on the victims' vehicle before driving off in a light blue truck.

The 19-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

One suspect has been identified as a white male. The other has been identified as a black or Polynesian male.

The motive behind the shooting is not clear, say police.
