Police Find No One Inside Apartment After Getting Reports Of Suicidal Woman

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento police say no one was inside an apartment where there were reports that a woman had a gun to her mouth and may have a child inside one of the units with her.

Sacramento police went to the Woodlake Village Apartments in the 200 block of Bicentennial Circle just after 10:00 Wednesday morning to do a welfare check at the request of another agency.

Officers were told a there were reports that a 35-year-old woman was holding a gun to her mouth and has her 12-year-old inside.

Police got in contact with the woman by phone and determined she was in San Jose.

Officers then entered the apartment and found no one inside.

No other information was immediately available.
