Police Serve Search Warrant In Connection With Skim X Murder

LINCOLN (CBS13) -- Police are searching a Lincoln home in connection with the murder of a Roseville businessman several months ago.

The Roseville Police Department has released few details but has confirmed that a search warrant has been issued for the investigation into the death of 44-year-old Christopher Northram, Sr., who was gunned down inside his business' warehouse on Industrial Avenue on May 30.

The circumstances surrounding Northram's death have produced one of the most complex murder investigations Roseville investigators can remember. A number of messages posted on the internet vehemently denounced Northram's business, SkimX, as a scam and an unprofessional operation.

The company business plans included building sports parks that combined ramps, water and skim boards. Some of the investors into the business live internationally, making the investigation into Northram's death a delicate procedure, investigators previously told CBS13.

"We have multiple people of interest in this case we're looking into," said Roseville Police Detective Darin DeFreece in a July interview. "and we're just gonna see where that takes us."

Police have not said who is the subject of the investigation at the Lincoln residence.
