Police Searching For Thief Caught Breaking Into Cars
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Police in South Sacramento are searching for a man suspected of breaking into several cars who may be armed and dangerous.
Police say they caught the man breaking into cars near Park Riviera and Riverside in the Pocket area. Police had been called to the area by neighbors who spotted the man and called 9-1-1.
The suspect took off leading police on a foot pursuit. Police say the suspect dropped both a knife and a gun while on the run. Police fear the man could have more weapons.
They're now searching the area for the man.
