Police Searching For Fourth Suspect In Stockton Bank Robbery
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A fourth suspect connected to the robbery of a Stockton bank and the chase and deadly shootout that followed is still on the loose, according to authorities.
The suspect reportedly dropped off the three armed suspects at the Bank of the West on Hammer Lane and Pacific Avenue on Wednesday, touching off a deadly chain of events that left one hostage dead and two others injured.
On Friday, police released a photo of the black four-door sedan with tinted windows that reportedly dropped off the suspects. Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the owner of the car and its driver.
The suspects allegedly took three women hostage and led police on a hour-long chase during which the suspects fired at pursuing officers. Eventually, the suspect's vehicle stopped and police and the suspects exchanged gunfire. One hostage and two suspects were killed. The third suspect was also injured.

In a press conference Thursday morning, Stockton Police Chief Eric Jones said the suspects were carrying massive amounts of ammunition, including magazines strapped to their bodies. Jones noted that all the time throughout the one-hour chase that followed the bank robbery, pursuing officers were taking fire from the suspects.
While 14 police vehicles were struck by gunfire, no officers were hit during the chase, Jones said. Numerous homes and civilian vehicles were also hit by gunfire.
Misty Holt-Singh, is the hostage who was killed in the shootout. She made a stop at the bank and, minutes later, was led away at gunpoint by the suspects.
Police say a hostage negotiator was headed to the bank when the suspects and hostages drove away.
The investigation continues into how Holt-Singh was killed.

Police have identified the slain suspects as Alex Martinez, 24, and Gilbert Renteria, 30, both of Stockton. The suspect who was arrested is 19-year-old Jaime Ramos of Stockton. He has been booked at the San Joaquin County Jail on homicide, attempted murder, kidnapping and robbery charges.
